RT3 develops ways to measure how climate hazards—such as heat, storms, and flooding—affect people's health, safety, and wellbeing over time.
Using community feedback alongside demographic data, health records, and environmental information, the team creates "dynamic metrics" that show how risks change with seasons, events, and societal conditions. These metrics help communities, local governments, and planners better understand who is most affected by climate stressors and how to protect public health more effectively.
