Overview

RT1 is the heart of 3CRS's community-driven approach. This team builds relationships with people who live and work in the four pilot communities—fishermen, local businesses, residents, municipal staff, emergency managers, and many others. Through workshops, listening sessions, and ongoing conversations, RT1 helps surface local priorities, concerns, and ideas.

This community input guides all other research in 3CRS, ensuring that the tools, data, and solutions we develop respond directly to real needs on the ground. RT1 also connects communities with regional partners and helps create long-term pathways for collaboration on coastal resilience.
